Miss Universe Singapore 2004
Okay, so the Singapore version of Miss Universe was over last weekend. And they had chosen the best of the best, cream of the crop to represent Singapore. Personally, they could had done better. Check out the pictures below. Do you find them suitable to represent Singapore? I don’t think so. I am sure that by walking out for lunch today, I can manage to see at least 5 girls who are much better looking than these. Talent-wise, I cannot say, but on the surface, yes. Anyway, you could always past thru the talent section of the contest by saying “World Peace” for most questions.
On another note, ever since the begining of the Miss Universe contest, that had been people saying that its derogatory, but no one seems to be doing anything about it..
well they are ‘real people’ as in they speak bad english, look bad at most angles and have real jobs.
Usually the winners are mixed parentage and spent most of their growing up years in another country.
So It’s ok I guess. Anyway Miss Singapore always crashes at the Main event, so who cares.
hmm, left one looks kind good. No, middle one is better, she is not all that sugary sweet. Generally I find asian women all beautiful, but was told that this is racist so I’ll shut up.

I nearly had a heart attack watching them answer the questions (after almost suffering one after Arsenal lost to Manyoo in the FA cup semifinals). Personally felt that the one who answered the last question best was first one on the left (Marilyn… see she made such an impression that I actually remembered her name).
Man, you got sister or not ? Why not ask them to participate in Miss Singapore next year.

I don’t know about the picture (yes, no one is especially hot), but the girl who went to Miss Singapore 2004 looked good. I was sure she’d be among the semis. I grew up in Singapore, so I know it has more than its share of pigs and obese women. It would be cool to get the crown, but I can’t see that happening. Miss Singapore has made it to the semis at Miss Universe only twice. In 1983, a classy lady (with the shoulders of a linebacker) made it to the semis. The horror who made it to the semis in 1987 did so only because the pageant was held in Singapore. Perhaps if the pageant became more open and considered choosing an Indian or European girl, we’d do better.
well said Alex..we need to get gals of mixed parentage who are endowed with best of both worlds..like our minsiter vivian balakrishan daughter..she looks gorgeous…a beautiful body will at least bring us to the top 15 ..we still dont mind if she fails the Q&A session..
