So here I am back from my trip to Brisbane. Well, I did the usual touristy thingy like sightseeing and shopping.
Went down to this place called Habour Town, which is halfway between Brisbane and Gold Coast. It spread across quite a bit of area and they sell “out-dated” branded stuff. Basically its just a way for brands like Nike to clear their stuff. The price is cheaper by around 30% to 70%. The stuff are not that “out-dated”, maybe just a season off. Anyway, got myself quite a number of clothing articles.

Love the weather over there. Its like the entire place has a giant air-con installed somewhere. The weather is cool in the day, but can be hell during summer. I wish Singapore was like that or something.

The highlight of the trip to me was the BMW Z4.

z4

I rented a Z4 for the day and drove down to Sunshine Coast, nothing beats it like the wind in your hair and the sun in your face. The car was a marvelous piece of machinery. The response is instantaneous, its like a part of your body. And get this, it has a seat warmer installed! Yes, you can push a button and your seat will warm up your ass. I guess its important in a convertible in the middle of winter with the roof down.

I don’t think the car is suitable for driving in the city that much. The constant start/stop from traffic light makes the car want to get out and run in the countryside. Its like a beast wanting to get out and run, with its hair in the wind in the country.

Anyway, am at home today suffering from unknown leg pain. Nope, its not gout. Went to the chinese doc yesterday and after some massage therapy chinese style, he told me the strain was caused by build up of small injuries my foot suffered thru the years. So they all decide to come back and just be one big strain one day.

Can’t really walk properly today from the pain. Had to limp around the office yesterday as its still not so bad. Hope I can get well, now I just need some painkiller so that I can go to the toilet properly.

Good to see you are back ! Remembering your knowledge about the pad incinerator, it wasn’t your first time in Australia, was it. Did you ever live there for a longer time ? Surely Singapore climate is scaring me. I have discovered the perfect weather just now, it’s much what you described about Aussie weather.

    Ping: wats the toilet solution?

    Thanks powerpuff

Aneki: Nope, it wasn’t my first time there, I was acutally in Melbourne for half a year. Singapore’s weather is not that bad. At least the temperature is constantly 26C to 34C all year round. It doesn’t go as high as 40C like in Melbourne. Although I sure hope for cooler days. Hows your weather?

Well 34 degrees does sound terrible to me heh. I live at the ocean so it never gets more than 30, always dry air and a nice breeze. I don’t think I wanna leave.
What did you do in aussie for half a year ?

I dun mind staying near the ocean, but here the ocean air is sticky.
I was in aussie for my studies. Love the place.
