Missing Link
My colleagues and me are playing this game called Missing Link on the radio station Class 95. The prize has snowballed up till SGD$750 and to win it, we have to guess the word from 3 clues which will be given out hourly.
SD managed to get the word correct since his vocab is very good. Our jobs are to just try to call the station to get hold of the DJ. Yesterday, we managed to get the word from the following clue:-
A 4 letter word containing the following letters:R, A, S
Clue 1: rymthes with rocket
Clue 2: Christmas tree
Clue 3: Buy/Sell
And the answer is “Star”.. some girl called in to say its “Stars”… our whole office cheered at her wrong answer.

Clue 2: Sausage
Clue 3: In asia
Answer is “Taiwan”. She answered it as “Taipei”, and again my office cheered.

Okay, the pot is now at $900. After some listener didn’t manage to get the right answer. So I did a small application that search thru 27,000 words and list out the closest one.. SD says this increase our chance by 28.76%.
