Wednesday already?

Hmm, this week seem to past by quite fast. Another few days of tai chi-ing (pushing) work around till it gathers up in one pile and kills me when it comes crushing down.

Anyway, went for an impromptu lunch with Ds and EC. Ds brought along her friend whom she thought I knew. I didn’t know her. Anyway, I realised that Ds’s friends has a common point in particular, they are all bloody tall! Anyway, we went to this soy-sauced duck rice stall along Circular Road for lunch. There was already quite a crowd there and most of the stuff besides duck are sold out before 12.30pm. One thing I noticed is the preparation. Its prepared differently from the Singapore version, this was more like the Malaysia version. The sauce is darker and more watery, its not as sweet as Singapore version. Its a bit like the kuay chup version that you eat. But its nice nonetheless, no wonder the queue.

After lunch under the hot sun, we went to this coffee place nearby. It has an exhibition by Einstein Kristiansen. Check out some of his works, I like the way he draws the farm animals. The Tahitian Coffee that I ordered contains more alcohol than the wine my friend was drinking, heh.. I think they didn’t save on the alcohol in my coffee..
