Duckless in Singapore
I had a craving for duck today so I went to my fav store to order half a duck.
Me: Uncle, how much is half a roasted duck nowadays?
*Uncle puts his hand over my shoulder*
Uncle: Young man, I don’t want to sell you the duck. They are not nice and expensive. See this roast duck, its an old duck. See that one, its air flown in and not as nice.
Me: err. okay, that bad ? sigh.. oh well, give me a pack of duck noodles instead.. at least I have some duck tonight.
damn the bird flu.. now that the import of chickens and eggs are back to the pre-bird flu level, when will they allow the ducks in?! I need to satisfy my duck craving!

yup yup.. I guess he has no choice.. the other braised duck store closed down due to lack of duck.. that one was my fav braised duck.. oh the agony

Err the ducks kinda remind me of bodybuilders… greasy and bulky…hahah!
