Agony of aromas
My office is surrounded between 3 restaurants. Below us, there is the Korean restaurant, they have very nice korean set lunch during lunch time and dinner. The portion is quite big as compared to some food court and the taste is up to par. For $8.90, you get a main dish of either bbq chicken, pork or beef to go with your rice. You have rice and 3 other side dishes like kimchi or some other things. Ice green tea is free flow. Everyday around 12pm, my seat would be filled with the smell of whatever they are cooking downstair, luckily its not that oily else we would be complaining.
Next to the Korean restaurant is this Indonesian restaurant. When we walk pass it everytime, we see a lot of people having their food. I was told that the food inside was pretty good, I shall have a go at it later during lunch.
And right above the Indonesian restaurant is a Japanese restaurant. They too have buffet like the Indonesian and supposedly the food is good too, although I have yet to see anyone going in. Maybe coz they are on the 2nd floor.. Just talked to one of the waiter from the Indonesian restaurant, he says the chef for the Japanese restaurant went back to Japan so its closed.. oh well
Anyway, the Korean restaurant is quite popular with the Korean tourists. We see loads of tour buses parking by the side unloading the famished tourists. Sometimes, we would be rewarded with drop dead gorgeous Korean babes and handsome guys (my female colleages said so).

On the Korean restaurant: haha! it’s like getting some Korean drama eh? Winter Sonata, My Sassy Girl anyone?
haiyo…so tempting. how to go on diet now???
hmmm … hunger …
Do they have kim chi?
yes they do, its one of the side dishes
why you never blog about your paperbag movie idea?!
I thought there was another restaurant there. North Indian or something.
No the japanese food sucked. Bad. Blah. Indo food is nice, agree!
Funny how you say Korean tourists go to Korean restaurants even when they are on holidays. I thought only Japanese tourists do that. Weaklings !!!!
