Creatures of the deep

15 Jan 2005 - Under General By Mandrake

I am sure some of you people had received emails from friends claiming the recent tsunami dug up some weird looking fishes from the ocean floor. Fishes such as the one below.

Well, thing is that the fact is false. These fishes are actually fishes found from an ocean expedition in 2003 around the Australia/New Zealand sea as checked out here.

The website here shows the wide range of weird creatures found in the ocean. It also makes very fascinating reading.

Creatures Feature!
Extra creatures
More creatures!
New Creatures
Wild Creatures!

I enjoy watching these type of documentarys whenever they show it. I like themes such as insects, ocean creatures and their living pattern. There was a show called “Secret Life of Plants” where they showed the entire life cycle of certain plants. I admire the people who made these, they had to spend years just to make a one-hour show.

I’m a total fan of those kind of shows, too! Apparently, people are still interested in nature, proven by the fact that this documentrary/movie “Deep Blue” could compete with all the other movies out there.

hmm, haven’t come across Deep Blue before. Its a recent show? I am sure that there are more people who are interested in nature, but sometimes, they are also the one who doesn’t give a crap about preserving it.
