Lu Bu Shi Yi
What the title means is that “Don’t pick up anything that aren’t yours on the road”.
When I was young, the teacher used to teach us that we shouldn’t pick up any items we found on the road. If we see some dollar notes, we have to be honest and don’t pocket it. We have to look for the owner if possible or give it to the police man (who will probably laugh at us).
In this day and age, would you do the same thing? If you saw $2, would you pocket it or wait by the side to see if the person who dropped it came back. What if its $20,000?
I think if I were to teach my kids about this, I will tell them to pick up the $2 or $10 and pocket it themselves. If its $20000, bring it to the police station. Does that make me a bad father or a realistic one?
On the way to the toilet beyond the lift lobby today, I saw a $2 dollars note on the trashbin. Apparently someone dropped it and another person picked it up to put there. It is because $2 is too little for the people here who on average makes at least SGD4000 a month? Or are they just being honest?
My colleague says it could be a trap.

hmmm tough question. Of course I’d bring big amounts of $$ to the police, I don’t want to be in trouble for stealing (I guess you are some kind fo thief then) or get killed in case it’s drug money . Small amounts…if I find them in a public place, I’d take them if they obviously are lost and no one around. I wouldn’t take money I find at the office, I’d give it to front desk. Chances are that would come back to ya and you look like a jerk for “stealing”.
how many people did lu bu kill in real life??
hundreds..according to history..there is no recorded count of the numbers he has achieved.
