So like taiwanese Korean drama

27 Jan 2005 - Under General By Mandrake

I had dinner with two married women last night. As opposed to Cowboy Caleb’s incident, I wasn’t thinking of having a relationship with any of them.

Anyway, I knew these two gals at different stage of my life. I got to know D more than 12 years ago in school. We were in the same club and our relationship is more like a brother-sister thing. E on the other hand, I’ve just known her for about 6 years from another schooling phase of my life. Somehow, the both of them got to know one another in the past few years thru fate. E’s and D’s husbands are very good buddy.

It was good to catch up with E again, since I’ve seen D more often then E (eh, sounds like C, D, E). Thru the conversations last night, I found out that E is like leading a life similar to those you can find in Taiwanese Korean soap dramas.

E was diagnosed with luekemia last year, luckily for her, she doesn’t have to go thru chemotherapy, which is good. However, her medical bills would come to about SGD4000 a month. The medication she is taking is new, hence the high pricing. She had to take 6 pills every day for life and each pill cost around SGD37.

Furthermore she would be jobless end of Feb coz her contract won’t be renewed. And to add on to this series of unfortunate incidents, she is also facing problem with her marriage.

Well, I admire her strong character to go thru all these. Luckily she has a very supportive family to be around her in times of need. Count your blessing, I tell you.

On a morbid note, I wonder how she would fare in this test.
