Bored not at work
Okay, finished my project at client’s place.. so now I have nothing to spend my intellectual on. So while I am waiting for the users to come back with their test results, I have nothing to do.
And since this company’s Internet policy forbids me to surf interesting websites, I have nothing much to do.. Am waiting for lunch in about 50mins and then going to head back to the main office, maybe then I have something to do.
What to do, what to do.
Oh yeah, they have a Mini Cooper Convertible on display downstair. Amist the bunch of people dressed in black tshirts trying to get you to sign up with their new Platinum credit cards (SGD50,000 min annual salary only! SGD2000 more than your usual Gold card requirement!).
The trick is to avoid their eyes and look ahead. When in doubt, look deranged. Trying to tear your hair out helps a lot. And if they still persist to corner you, tell them you are either bankrupt or does not earn enough to qualify for a credit card.
“Scuseme, I only earn $1500 a month, can get ah? Can I go for that free golf tour also? Can I use the card to buy that Mini Cooper Convertible over there?”
They probably smile and walk away waiting to pounce on another victim.
Oh, did I say that the Mini Cooper looks good? Its a 4 seater, but I still think nothing beats the look of a Z4. Not even the new SLK. The Z4 just looks so nicely built. The SLK looks a bit big and not as elegant, although I must say if you don’t compare it to the Z4, it does look good.
Usually I only get approached when am out with certain people (yes, it’s always the same people). Am convinced they make me look old

hee .. i used the i-don’t-earn-enough-to-get-a-credit card trick to shoo them away. and Z4 rocks! =)
