Cats and me
I like cats.. more than dogs.. cats are more independent than dogs.. dogs need you, cats doesn’t.. you just leave them water and food and they are happily lazing away in the day and running around at night. If I have a choice, I would keep a cat.
Recently, there are two new born kittens below my apartment. They looks so pitiful in their small size and the mother seems not to be taking care of them. I see the mother dragging some food away to eat while the kittens were meowing away. Maybe the mother was eating so that she can produce more milk?
Today I went to buy a carton of milk so that I can pour in a bowl and leave it for them. My mom asked me what I want the bowl for and when I told her the purpose, she said no need milk. Just leave them with some left over food. Since she cooked fish, I peeled the parts that I don’t really eat, those meat near the belly and some rice and brought it downstair.
I left it on a foil cut from a left over oatmeal packaging and leave the thing near where they roam. I shall see what happens tomorrow.

If newborn prolly can’t eat solid food yet. No teeth. Can’t drink milk we drink either, unless you water it down. Something about lactose intolerance. There’s special kittens and pups formula. $20+ a tin.
err.. okay.. I think they are around 2 weeks old maybe.

hey, just some fyi on cat care. i suggest you don’t let the kittens eat the food because 2 weeks is still early to be weaned off milk. like amuse has said, you can buy kitten milk formula to feed them, but best if you just leave the mother to care for them (just feed the mom). i also advise you not to remove the kittens whilst the mother isn’t around or hold them for too long as the motehr may reject them after smelling too much of your scent on them. if you need any other info just let me know.
Checked this morning.. the food are gone.
La Idler: okay.. I didn’t remove the kittens or hold them.. just pat pat a bit on the head. Last I see, the mother was eating her own food. Saw her again this morning, but no kittens. I think the mother probably ate some of the food too.
