House value will go up?
In my previous post about the recent earthquake in Indonesia that happens to shake some buildings in Singapore, I was wondering why my flat doesn’t shake.
I speculated that because my area was built on or near the granite rock of Singapore, the foundation is more stable.
Turns out that I was right. The yesterday’s Today has someone explaining why some areas in Singapore didn’t experienced the shake. The guy said that some area built on more stable foundations won’t experience and some on loose grounding like in the east side would..
So now if I want to sell my house, would it fetch a higher price?
“House for sale, didn’t shake in mild earthquake.”

Have to include “Garaunteed safe. So it’ll cost you more!” also.
