Bugs?
I’ve just finished and delivered a finance system to my client earlier this week. The project went live and the users have started using it since monday afternoon. I’ve been at this project for better half of a year. The project is all about finance forecast, expense/money tracking, all the possible thing that you can do with Finance, the users are people from the Asia Pacific region.
We had spent about 1 month doing bug testing, UAT (User acceptance test) and finally its deployed to be used.
As of now, 3 days after usage, no bugs has surfaced yet.
This can be worrying at times, for a big project, if there isn’t any bugs, that means two things.
One: The UAT, bug tracking/fixing was done extremely well. Everyone did their parts in tracking/fixing bugs
Two: The UAT, bug tracking wasn’t done extensive enough, there isn’t any heavy usage. We are all just waiting for one big bug to appear.
I wonder which is which.
Hah.. good lah dude! Don’t worry too much. No problem means good job.
