Race queens
Was down at Kallang to check out the new Mitsubishi’s new Evo IX car.
The weather was quite alright, but it looks like it was going to rain, and this makes the afternoon not as hot as the past few days.
When we reached there, there were already a competition going on where a few drivers were going thru the course in their Evo cars. I must say that all did so so, except for one driver who seems to drift thru the course with an attitute.
Around 5pm, one of the highlights was the demo of the new car by a Japanese race car driver. EvilOverlord says that the driver is like doing ice skating on wheels. Basically he goes thru the same course without slowing down at the corners, not like the other drivers.
One of the MC said the reason why these drivers don’t really dare to show their worth is because they still need to use that car tomorrow to fetch the wife somewhere or to work on Monday.
After that we left for a homecooked seafood/chicken pasta dinner. We didn’t wait for Jackie Chan to introduce the new car himself. After all, we are here to see the skills of the drivers, not him showing off his limited designs.
The racequeens are not that nice though, too bad there isn’t that much quality like those from Japan.

(points to the photo) like that also not that nice ar?!
not really, maybe doesn’t fit my idea of nice..
LEET! i meant the ladies… =D…

Usually the supermodel type don’t want to do car shows. It’s quite downgrading I suppose.
