Here lies Henry the Frog, who unknowingly leap into a net and ended up in a pot of porridge, dead and well done.
Henry looks on besides the piles of skeletons of Carl and Johnson.
Who likes frog porridge?
When I was much younger, I never touch these frogs legs. They used to serve them during wedding dinners and stuff, but I just refuses to touch them. To me, they are odd, who eats frogs anyway? However, I do ask people around me then what it tastes like, and they say it tastes like chicken. Even snake meat also taste like chicken. What if some chicken dishes doesn’t taste like chicken, would it still be a chicken dish? Philosophy aside…..
So one day, I can’t remember when, I put one on my plate and start eating it. Eventually, I grew out of the fear of eating it and now I can eat it like its chicken.
Thanks to Henry and his cousins for sacrificing their lifes for me. May they be still swimming in that big pond in the sky.

Lexandria: I was playing around with the bones and it somehow ended up looking like the entire frog. Anyway, couldn’t do the top part of the frog as they don’t cook it. They chopped it off. Have you seen the people chopping the heads off the frogs before? You can just go to Geylang’s shops and go to the alley. You wouldn’t want to eat frogs again. One thing is that they die a quick death.
I nair eat frog legs all my life until last year. So exotic! So scary! Duwan!!!
Then I realise that I have been missing out on alot… YUMMY!

i try the frog porridge at the outram road the name is hao zhou dao.(the shop moved from peoples’park complex to outram) i can say the taste is the best in singapore.especially the chilli frog and the wine frog..very fresh and the frog is very big..MUST TRY *****
