Leave

14 Dec 2005 - Under General By Mandrake

Nope, not going on leave. But I was just informed that I still have 11.5 days of leave balance this year. And bringing 5 days forward to next year, I have 6.5 days to clear by Jan/Feb 06. Oh where oh when should I clear the leave?

Anyway, went to a BBQ last night and I was the satay man. At least the satay turns out well, not too hard by overcooking it. The teriyaki chicken was quite good as the sugar caramelized properly, not done by me of course. I was just responsible for sprinkling some herbs on the chicken chops which was already seasoned but some extra herbs won’t hurt.

This was one of those rare BBQ that managed to finish almost all the food except for a few stringrays and sotongs. The meat were all gone before every retired to the room for some more alcohol and games.

Some just chill outside the door making lots of noise after consuming vodka, whiskey, beer and wine. It was rowdy that the security came and chase us out and issue a warning letter.

Overall, it was fun.
