Depressing season
I was out with C for some chicken wings and beer at Ice Cold Beer last evening. We were talking crap over the wings while waiting for two of her friends to come and join us. Lets call them Sne and Msa.
Sne is in her early twenties and looks like a much younger version of Cheryl Fox from Channel News Asia. She has the body to boot too.
Msa is C’s friend from her school years.
Anyway, Msa and C were catching up and left me talking to Sne. We were talking about relationships and her desire to find someone else. Although she is young, she had her shares of men and is tired to look any further.
She is sort of seeing a 30 year old guy who avoided her for two weeks after she wanted to commit. He is not that good in bed (no foreplay etc) and is just so so. Our common recommendation for her is to ditch him and go look for someone else.
She seems quite the independent girl, more like the person wearing the pant in the relationship and she likes older guys. All I can say for her is to meet more people since she is still young.
Later we went to another pub and met another friend who just broke up. Sad but I guess she had to do it.
On my way home last night, I received a sms from another friend who told me she is sad that she just saw her ex. They broke up not long ago.
Sometimes, human just hate memories. It brings back such bad memories and spoilt the season for you.
its also the season for change, for new things to herald new beginnings. think of the bright side.
i realised it’s only christmas and new year seasons where humans get more melancholic than usual…
break-ups (bad memories) gives me nightmares everytime i think of it.
