Buying plane ticket

Malaysia Airlines recently held an online travel fair which gives discount to a lot of tickets. From return flight to Langkawi, it cost you only SGD59, which is a dirt cheap offer. I tried booking for some at a specific date but it came back as “No Web Promotion is available”. What kind of a website promotes the airfare yet can’t let user find the promotion?

I did get a quotation of SGD500 for the flight I want. If you were to get it thru an agent, it would probably cost you SGD300. My friend managed to get the same flight for SGD1200+ on the same site.

Next I went to Zuji.com.sg to try my luck and I did saw the ticket I wanted. After entering the usual information, my flight was booked for SGD58 as advertised via MAS. The airport tax for both side comes up to SGD129 which is kind of ridiculous. I mean, the airfare is cheaper than the airport tax.

They couriered the tickets to me the next day at no cost. I must say I am quite impressed with the services from them, I would probably use them again.

Anyway, the discount tickets are still on till the 26th Feb.
