Stats

15 Mar 2006 - Under General, Interesting Links, Tech Talk By Mandrake

Stats are important, I know a lot of bloggers keep their own stats using Statcounter.com or some other stats services. I have my own stat service on my server and its quite comprehensive. I know how many people are reading from my feeds and how many visits I get daily. I know who comes to my blogs from their own blogs, how many times a month.

So far, one of my highest all time referrers from search engine is the search for “7 star hotels”. Which points to this post (About 600 hits a month).

And also the Voo Doo Knife Holder.

I came across Performancing http://performancing.com, a stats tracker mainly for blogs today. Its just launched and its already tracking 500 blogs so far. The review from the people who had signed up so far says that its better and faster than Google Analytics. I did signed up for Google Analytics but they are now in closed beta, so I am holding my breathe for them to let me in.

If you want another stats tracker, sign up and check it out. Oh yeah, they have RSS feeds for the stats too! Not sure whether you want people to see your stats though.

I will update later to see how the service is. In the meantime, some ads from Google just to see what is displayed for this post.
