Airline food

27 Mar 2006 - Under General By Mandrake

Usually airline food suck ass. I remember a while back that I swear to keep off beef or fish whenever I am presented a choice by the airstewardess. They usually comes up dry and a bit tasteless.

This time round, I was flying MAS for a short haul flight and surprisingly, the food was good. On the trip there, I was presented with Rendang Chicken and the taste was amazingly quite okay. In fact, I think its better than some I tasted on the street.

On the return trip, it was black pepper fish. Now, when I heard fish, I was going “Crap…”. But when the fork pierced the fish, its flaky and generally alright. Not too dry and not too moist.

The same goes for the previous time I travelled the same haul and I think the airline food must have improved.
