Beauty Pagent

I didn’t watch the recent Singapore Miss Universe Pagent. Its more like, I didn’t bother to watch. Why, I don’t know, it doesn’t appeal to me.

In an earlier conversation today, a friend informed me that two of the contestests, the two top gals were also from another beauty pagent in 2005.

I reached the conclusion that they go to these beauty pagents for fun and fame. I mean how many can you go in a year, and how much time do you have to spend for it?

My friend was wondering where had all the gorgeous girls went. I had to agree with her, from what I see of these girls, they are not that outstanding. Although I have to hold back some opinions as I haven’t met them in person.

My answer to her question was “They don’t bother to join, or they had married off to someone rich somewhere”.
