World Cup Schedule
I remember it like it was yesterday the last World Cup.
For the opening match, I watched it at a pub near my old office, somewhere near the old Liverpool Football club. Imagine everyone’s surprise when France lost to Senegal. Oh the disbelief on everyone’s face. Many a booking tickets were torn.
It was also the time when I lost big time due to a miscommunication. I was helping my friends to take bet for one of the games. I told him that his bets are in whereas in fact, after the match, I was informed it wasn’t. His team won and I had to fork out the money from my own pocket. I bleed red that day.
For that final match, I was stuck on an airplane to Australia to study. The captain promised to inform us the result once its over while we were in the air. In the end, we were informed of it while getting stuck in the plane on the ground after waiting for 3 hours due to a mechnical fault.
This year, I wonder how it will go. I have already configured my Google Calendar to display all the matches. No, I didn’t do it myself, I used someone’s calendar’s info for it. Check it out.
