1st time in 5 years
I took the same bus to work for the last five years. The different jobs I held were all around the same area and thats the reason why.
Today, I was late for 1 hour coz of traffic jam. In 5 years that I had taken the bus, it had never jammed up that bad before.
The jam happened along Commonwealth Ave West near to Holland Village and Ghim Moh area.
Vehicles from Holland Road towards town cannot turn into Holland Village area. In the end, I got stuck there for 1 hour.
Anyone knows why?

Yup, I blogged about it.
funny how Singapore would have all those street/areanames like Holland Village etc. are there no attempts to rename ? I know after the US army left my hometown all the barracks got torn down and everything renamed etc. just as an attempt to go back to the roots.
Holland Village is actually named after a man called Holland and not the country.
