Musically incline?
I don’t know whether I am musically inclined or not, but I know I can’t really sing or hold a tune, I think.
Anyway, I never had any formal music training, I can’t read sheet music fast enough to play. When I was 12 years old, I was back in my hometown for holidays and I stayed with my aunt and family. My cousins were learning how to play the piano then.
Out of boredom, I just sit there and try to play some pieces. I can’t read the sheet music, but my cousin taught me some of them. Like if the tapole is at a location, I have to play a certain key. Anyway, she also taught me to play the full compliment with certain chords.
When I was in JC, there is a baby grand piano in the hall. I would print out some popular songs chords and just go to the hall and practice by myself. I can play the melody by ear and then follow the chords from the print-out.
After that, I seldom play anymore as I don’t have a piano.
A few years ago, when I was in Melbourne, there is a piano in the student recreational hall. When I am bored or nothing to do, I would print out some stuff, load the song to my PDA and then go to the hall to try to play. I remember that time I was trying to learn Pachel Bell’s Canon in D minor just by listening and checking the sheet music. Thats a bloody slow process.
If I can choose to learn something now, I would probably learn the piano..

hey i hope you keep playing. I was just wondering if you have the sheet music for canon in D MINOR. i have only been able to find Canon in C and canon in D major.
If you have the sheet music canon in d minor, can you please email it to me at djkajeyomama3@yahoo.com please. (d minor i believe only has B flat, not f sharp and c sharp)
