The song describes the adoration of a person from afar. About how the girl would suddenly appear suddenly, being playful and basically why isn’t she getting tired of it? 
She is like the butterfly, fluttering in the sky, all over the place, but never by the guy’s side. The guy can only look from afar, hoping the girl would rest by his side.
Many years ago, my classmate who sits beside me likes this girl. We sit at the back of the class so we had a fine view of who walks pass our classroom. Everytime this girl walks past, he would hit me and ask me to look at her coz he likes her. I just patronize him and just have a look.
Eventually, I too fall for that same girl. The one who would always flutter around but never by my side. In the end, I got more chance than he did. I went out with her, quite often actually, but most of the time its a group thing. Sad part was that she likes my other guy friend who hangs out with us. In the end, she rejected my advance but we remain as friends since.
