Training Program

This is kind of exciting..

I am sort of looking forward to this training program that I am thinking of doing. Its just to keep healthy and at least build up my stamina again.

The training program starts with me swimming as much as I can. I think 6 laps now at one go would kill me. I used to be able to swim 100 laps without stopping. Now see where all those slack time goes? Now I float better.

Wake up at 6am. Go to swimming pool at 630. Swim till 730 or whichever comes first. Then go to work.

So I would start with the max I can swim at one go. Then rest for a day or two and then continue on with the same program. By the 3rd week, I should be able to swim at least 20 laps without stopping.

I did the same build-up program a few years ago in Australia. I would do the same thing, especially after a hard night of alcohol. It feels refresh to work those muscles. And I can tell you that it works for me. By the 4th week, I was swimming long distance again.

Lets see how this goes.

    it seeems like many ppl caught the exercise bug nowadays. :P
    20 laps is 1km ..

    my dad use to make me swim 20 laps ( to and fro = 1 lap) at one go when we go swimming together.

    Now, swimming non stop for 2 laps (to and fro inclusive) is already killing me..

    I hope you can do it.. besides.. its great on the legs.. “breast” stroke.. and tones the arms “free” style. I remember losign heck alot of weight when did alot of swimming during my windsurfer wannabe days. (half the time dragging the sail and board across the water)
