utorrent

When BitTorrent first came out, I was dubious about the technology. I was wondering what I can do with this technology.

Now, it was reported that 2/3 of the Internet traffic was caused by bittorrent transfer. Most of them are pirated stuff like music, movies and other stuff. There are also legal stuff like free music, movies, Linux distributions.

I use utorrent since it first came out. The thing that got me using it last time was because it had a very small memory footprint. It won’t take up too much of my computer resources.

Fast forward to now, version 1.6.1 enables me to remote access the utorrent interface and configure the current download. It also let me add downloads to it while I am at work.

Give it a try.
