3.5″ Disk

14 Nov 2006 - Under General By Mandrake

This morning, a client came over and pass me a 3.5″ Disc.

I looked at it and then quickly try to think which of my computers in the office still have a floppy disk drive. I am the one who ordered most of the office computers from Sim Lim. I’ve decided to not install a floppy disk since a few years ago, so when I saw the disk, I went “Shit, where the hell do I find a drive”.

I remembered one of the older machine from Dell has one and tried it there, no luck. I think that drive died on us. I was about to tell the client to take it back when I remembered I still have a Compaq machine.

Luckily, that one still can be used and I managed to copy the data out.

Its 2006, I wonder how many computers still have floppy disk drives.

If you do, you might consider this.
