Batteries Not Included

4 Dec 2006 - Under General By Mandrake

I think one of the most serious bane to childhood enjoyment would be the lack of batteries.

How many times have your toy fail to function properly (I dun mean vibs) at the critical time when you want to play it when you are a kid?

You took out this interesting toy car that you want to play. Press a button here and there, expecting to see it move. But alas, there isn’t any batteries.

How many childhood dreams had been dashed?

Batteries are evil in children’s toys.

I know what you mean! This happened to me when I was a kid. Good thing I now stock up for my children. I always buy all different kinds - AA, AAA, C, D…in all different types -rechargeable, alkaline, and I even found a new one called Oxyride that seems to work great in some toys and my digital camera. The Oxyrides have been in my camera since March and haven’t died yet!
