Free airtickets

Came across the news that AirAsia is giving away about 70million free tickets to various countries around Asia.

I went to take a look and I still find that they still want you to find out when the free tickets are available manually. That means you have to enter the dates you want and then hope that the tickets are available. I find that most of the free tickets are for weekdays, but the time is still alright, not awful times like 7am departure.

Was talking to Jesuafreak about it and turns out he also booked tickets to Vietnam. He told me that there are more flights if one choose to depart from KL.

Joelle was saying that she would look for the free flights from JB to KL and then from KL to elsewhere.

Anyway, this site called Travelfish might be useful for those budget travelers. It does tell you what are the interesting places to go, over 3000 guesthouses or hotels in the region.

Its supposed to be run by avid travelers and a look at the message board shows that queries are promptly answered. I actually like forums with people able to answer your questions promptly. Best if you are flying off in a day and you managed to get answers for your queries.
