Food From the hometown
Here are some of the stuff I ate while I was back in my hometown.

Yes, its a common small bowl of chilli, I just like the colour.

A bowl of one of my fav food from the hometown.. The Sarawak Laksa. There is nothing like it available locally. I was told they used more than 30 kind of spices in the preparation.

Kolo mee with the works.. Although the one from this stall is not that fantastic.

Very springy homemade noodles in Sandakan. The wanton is not bad though.

Forest Durains. You won’t get this in Singapore. Its from the forest of Borneo and its slightly bigger than a grapefruit. My cousin told me that you can actually get drunk on it in large quantity. I didn’t get to try it but the taste is supposed to be very strong. The flesh is orange in colour.

Check out the size of this coconut. This is the very top half of the coconut and its very spacious inside. What they did is to drain the milk of the coconut and use it to make coconut jelly. Its really nice.

A bucket of KFC. Its much nicer than Singapore’s and I was told that over there, different branches have different standard. This one is the best.

The filling for curry puffs that my aunt makes.
