My job
Nah, I am not going to tell you where I work or stuff like that. But what do I do at work?
Most of the time, I am coding stuff, but the rest of the time, I am either researching or development new stuff for clients, looking thru functional specifications, those kind of boring stuff.
I would say the more enjoyable times would be those researching for solutions to client’s problems or request. You be surprised what some clients want in their system.
They could had overheard that such and such thing can be done with their current system so they come to us and say “Hey, I know this can be done, do it with this much money”.
When these kind of requests come in, I would be tasked to research for informtion whether it actually can be done. If so, then submit my recommendations and it will be sent to the client.
Sometimes the research takes a few hours, or even few weeks. But generally its more fun than some other mundane work.
