Amazing Obstacle Course

10 Apr 2007 - Under General By Mandrake

I did my share of obstacle courses in my youth. When I was in the Outdoor Adventure Club in junior college, I created courses for my junior as well as going thru those that other people created. The epitome of my time doing obstacle courses was for this particular competition organized by People’s Association.

We were facing various schools for the first prize. The courses involving navigating thru an area using just planks and we can’t touch the ground. The best part was the last part. 5 of us had to use planks, poles to slide thru a hole that was suspended in mid air without touching the sides. It would be easier if the hole was not the size of 1.5 times the size of an A4 paper. I wasn’t that big then, but I still had my broad shoulders.

When it was our team to go thru, the crowd were all waiting like piranhas to see how they can managed to put me thru the hole. I can’t remember how, but we did managed to get thru and won ourselves the 2nd prize.

I came across this video of an amazing obstacle course in Japan. So far, about 500 people had tried and only 2 managed to finish it. Check it out.
