Breakfast of champion

8 May 2007 - Under General By Mandrake

I know quite a lot of people who likes Bee Hoon, that thin rice noodles that is also called vermicelli. I think because its low fat or something like that.

Anyway, I don’t really like the texture of it. I hate the feeling sometimes I get when I eat it. It feels halfway between choking and hiccuping. I know that if I don’t rush it, the feeling will go away, but it just feel weird. It feels like I am going to choking to death on a mouthful of vermicelli.

Some water does help though.

the fried beehoon is ok, if mixed with mee.. what I can’t stand is soup beehoon. I feel like I’m eating strings.

Actually try not to eat it when your mouth or throat is dry. Done that a couple of times and almost choke. But then again, that particular stall one is too dry…
