Recently I got a 15″ new LCD screen with a computer that came together with a broadband package.
Since I already had a 20″ and a 17″ LCD screen, I don’t really need a 15″. Its a bit hard to sell it off as the selling price in the market of a 15″ is almost the same as a 17″. People would want to get the later instead.
I advertised it for sale in a few forum like Hardwarezone and Cowboybar. Yahoo and eBay Singapore doesn’t look happening. There were no responses from the two I advertised in. Then one day later I advertised it on mocca.com, the new Buy/Sell portal created by Mediacorp.
It cost $15 a month to advertise there, but its free for the first 7 days since it was just launched. There was no responses for the first few days but about 4 days later, I received at least 4 email enquiries.
Finally, I sold it away on the 5th day to a student. All in all, it was quite alright.
