City Plaza

Right now, I am sitting outside City Plaza, the place where I really seldom come to, waiting for Ma Belle. To me, the place looks old, like from the 80s. Although I believe if you want bargain in some type of clothings, there are plenty inside. But the sense of the fashion might put some people off.

One of the redeeming factor here is none other than Arnold’s Fried Chicken. Its truly the best fried chicken I’d ate so far in Singapore. The taste is just different, you can taste the different spices that they put inside, from turmeric to cumin and some other unknown spices according to Ma Belle.

The place i am sitting is some satay stall, I can smell the meat gently sitting over the fire, waiting to be eaten. I think I shall have a few sticks or so later.

One thing I notice are the people here. Some of them looks like they worked in night clubs. Some of the clothing shops here seems to cater to them. Its just strange. This place reminds me of Malaysia more than Singapore.

One Response so far

It is also one of the few places in the east where you can find Indonesian Food. It is true that this place did not change much since the 80s with some stores operating since then.

If you got the time do visit 2nd Chance. :)
