东成西旧
东成西旧 is one of those classic Hong Kong movies that can be watched over and over and over again. This show was out in 1993-94, not to be confused with 东邪西毒 by Wong Kai Wai, even though they have almost the same cast in both shows. The cast is quite stellar, from 张国荣 梁家辉 林青霞 张学友 梁朝伟 张曼玉 and so on.
东成西旧 is a funnier version of 东邪西毒 although the story might not be the same. I’ve watched it many many times and still laugh at it every time. Its just one of those classic.
Mediacorp does rerun it once in a while, but probably at odd hours. I suggest those who are interested to either get the DVD or rent it from somewhere. I would say its one of the most funny Hong Kong movies ever produced.
