Malaysia going the dangerous way
I am not a political blogger. I do not usually blog about politics at all, unless its pretty interesting.
I don’t blog about politics doesn’t mean I don’t read about it, especially the political situation in Malaysia.
Yesterday, the government ordered a crackdown and arrested lawyers, opposition parties for holding unapproved rallies in the past few weeks.
The most stupid thing is to hold 31 people for “attempted murder” of a police officer coz someone threw a rock or something and hurt him. They wanted to arrest 30 more people. How stupid is that.
You can read more at Jeff Ooi, specifically here.
When I watch the news on TV about protestors and oppposition being arrested in Russia (did you know Gary Kasparov, the world no.1 chess player was the opposition in Russia?), I don’t feel as much because its not a country I can identify with.
But when it happened next door in Malaysia, where I was born, where my cousin is in the opposition, I am a bit worried. I am not so worried for my cousin, but more for the way the country is being run into the ground.
From what I read and see, I felt that the country is being run by a group of imbeciles I won’t trust even my cats to. Instead of giving them proper food, they probably feed the cat some low grade stuff from suppliers who give them money.
Then if the cats died, they will say they will form an investigation which will then sweep the case under the carpet.

They will blow up the cat first, hoping that nobody will find out.
