I’ve suffering from dry skin on my feet, especially my sole. My sole would be extremely itchy after a day of wearing socks and shoes. Its even worse if I have a few drinks after work. When I come back from drinking, the feet would itch as hell. Sometimes I would scratch till it bleeds. If you had seen my feet before, its quite dry and there are a number of scars.

I’ve tried a few moisturizers from Johnson & Johnson and a few other brands. Well, they do work sometimes but I do have to put quite a bit. One of the common problem with moisturizers is that they will leave a feeling of oily skin after you apply them. This is due to the glycerin which helps to add moisture to the skin from the air around. Glycerin is the primary cause of the oily residue after applying. Skin MD Natural Shielding lotion does not have this problem. More about it later.

I’ve never heard of Skin MD Natural until a friend told me about it. She said they are inviting to review their product and since I don’t mind trying it out, I filled in the form and a few weeks later, the package came.

In the box, there is a bottle of 120ml bottle of the shielding lotion as well as 3 packets of the same thing for use when you are out and about.

Now, what is a shielding lotion. Its basically a lotion that forms a barrier between the skin and the surrounding air so that the moisture is locked in and at the same time, moisture is absorbed from the air. Read here to find out how it works.

The lotion has a watery consistency but after you apply it, its really absorbed into the skin leaving very very little residue on the surface. In fact, you don’t feel the typical moisturizer feeling at all. There is also very little smell as compared to other brands.

I let XT tried it as well and she also finds it very good. In a nutshell, she also said its good and effective and really works.
